About Elaine Winter

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hello! I’m Elaine

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I believe in trying to understand all aspects in someone’s life and recognizing the impact of their experiences, relationships, and understandings into the current way of life. I utilize my training and skills in helping clients come to witness ideas and behaviors within themselves and then find ways to make changes and find balance.

I have 33 years of experience helping adults, and teens in crisis. I’m licensed in UT, NV, WA, and OR

My Approach

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. In your first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we’ll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I’ll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
