Why do I draw thoroughbreds over all of the possible subjects in the world to draw? I've been asked that question time and time again.     

My Uncle Ralph loved horses and the sport of horse racing and taught me about them. Over time I came to love them as he did. A thoroughbred race horse is such a beautiful animal and the connection I experience after I have completed a drawing, always reminds me of why I focus my creative talents on thoroughbred racing subjects.

I can't think of any other subject that I'd rather capture in a drawing. They are poetry in motion and "beauty and art" just standing still.
